I'm not saying all my floors are done or anything, but I DO find THIS.....very exciting!!!
I mean we still have to do three coats of polyurethane with sanding in between each one and let it sit for three days before putting the furniture back. And we still have the kids' room, but even so.....I feel like we've really accomplished something. YAY!!! I LOVE prettiness!
FAYN-CEE!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteOoohh...Aaahh...I am so jealous of your creativity. You go girl. You could make some serious money with that creativity and hard work ethic!!! Oh, I saw the stencil. You're stenciling the floor. Oh my goodness, the patience and endurance of you all just amazes me! Susan Evans

tab,
ReplyDeletewe wait till they are in bed to do most of the work. although there was one day when I wanted to surprise stephen. I had them all go potty, then I put food and movies into Clyde's room and told them they couldn't come out. it was, of course, the one day they didn't really want to watch movies.
It really is awesome! You turned what could have been lemons into lemonade!!! Beautiful!! Lots and lots of work. I'm excited for you. We might paint the basement floor when we are done dry walling and painting. I'll have to get tips from the queen.
