Dollywood Splash Country Part 2

The next weekend, we drove to our hotel Friday night.  Saturday morning, when the park was opening, we were joined by Sherry & David!!!

Once again, we started with the lazy river.  Sherry, David and the kids made a wall and tried to block Stephen and I from going through.

After the lazy river, we headed to a new ride called the River Rush, advertised as the first water coaster in the country.  It was pretty awesome, but had quite a line.

After the coaster, Iris hitched a free ride to the next water slide...

The coaster made Lucy a little nervous.  But once she got off of it she declared, "I'm feeling a little daring."

So we promptly went to THE slide...also known as Fire Tower Falls...

Then to the Big Bear Plunge...

My camera died so I didn't get pics of a lot of what we did.... some of the above pics are with Sherry's waterproof camera.  I borrowed it from her when we went to the  Raging River Rapids and got an action shot while going down the slide with my boys!

On the LAST DAY, it was just the five of us.  I got a picture of Stephen and the kids before we got wet.

We went straight to the coaster.  Here are Stephen and the girls...

But the coolest ride was the Swiftwater Run.  The slide drops you into a funnel where you go around and around until you get "flushed" out.  It's not as enormous as other funnel rides I've seen, but it was perfect for us!  This was ridden by at least a few people in our party each day, but this was the first time I figured out how to get pictures!  So here's for my grand finale!  CLICK ON THESE PICS.  THEY ARE SO MUCH COOLER WHEN VIEWED BIGGER :)
