Ironically, there are no actual wedding pictures in this entry. This is because I had the AMAZING honor of being the matron of honor.... thus, I couldn't exactly stand up there and take pics.
So...
Emilia. She is a DEAR soul, whom I love! And I had been watching her grow up for a while at church, but didn't know her well until I started teaching her middle school small group when she was 11. I did that for a couple of years and then retired, but she seemed to like to hang out with me for some reason, so we just kept doing that whenever we got the chance. Which was awesome, because I LOVED hanging out with her.
She's a VERY driven and ambitious girl. So sometimes I thought, she might not get married until she became a forensic something-or-other, which would take TONS of school. BUT. SOMETIMES, I just looked at her and thought, "Some smart guy is just not going to let her get away."
And I was right. This lovely, strong, Christian girl got swept off her feet by a guy she's known since infancy. And they're young, but crazy awesome, and crazy mature!
Worry not...here come the pics!!
The bride, her family and friends gathered at my friend, Amy's, house to put together bouquets and boutonnieres with the flowers and greenery she chose. Chica likes her some eucalyptus!
