Colonial Iris

I've done several posts through the years on Lucy and the really neat historical classes she attended.  We have the remarkable privilege of knowing a lady who loves living history, reenactments, and teaching young ladies about history in this manner.

After four years: Colonial Girls, Prairie Girls, Victorian Girls, and Civil War Girls, Lucy has retired from Historical Girl classes and has been quite sad about it.  But she loves that her little sister (who has been longing to do this since the first day her big sis put on her Colonial dress) is now starting all those same classes.

It seems unreal that Iris is old enough to do this and that it was four years ago that Lucy wore this dress, but now it's Iris's turn!  And she IS PUMPED.

 When I picked her up after her first day, she said, "That was the best time of my life!"
