So poor Mama's eyes were still at doing SOOOO poorly, but, otherwise, she was feeling well and DEFINITELY ready to get out of the house for her birthday. She warned us ahead of time that she wouldn't be able to open them and even with them closed was sensitive to light, but gave us the go ahead. So we plowed ahead with the celebratory plans...

Each of the kids described and read their cards to her...
They also described the presents that she opened from Sherry, David, Stephen and I....
Then when the kids started bringing David their cards he very humorously started describing them and reading them with added commentary for Mom's enjoyment.
It was HYSTERICAL!! We were all crying, we were laughing so hard! Seriously, this below pic was only at the beginning, I was cracking up and couldn't snap pics!
So, it ended up being a great day, it was just nice to see her out and smiling!!! Hopefully we celebrated them both well, and made them happy, for we love them both dearly!
