We went to Mom's to help decorate...

Iris snuck in the back room to make secret paper chains as a surprise.
We left Lu there, but when Nena and Papa brought her home she had new ornaments for everyone.
It's become a tradition that Iris wears that silver tinsel on her head as we trim the tree, I'm not sure that it's ever been used for anything else.
They like to line up the little angel ornaments that Nena and Lucy always get Stephen and I. Mom bought us our first one for our first Christmas...before Lucy.

Once Stephen sat out my Christmas pillows the pups got more comfortable.
Or maybe they like the tree skirt better... they can't decide.
And we decorated some at Dad's....
Grandmom had seen an idea for a tree that you have against the wall, and doesn't take up much space, then came up with her own DIY version.
First the sons-in-law built the base and trunk...
Then us girls started cutting and mounting the branches.
I don't remember what caused this laughter...
And since it was Sherry's birthday weekend, we added some birthday festivities...
And we were all prepped for Christmas!!
